Lemovici, Area of Limoges, Stater with crane and trefoil, Ist century BC, EF(40-45), Electrum, Delestré:3410var
bust right with several locks of hair
horse left, crane left between two pelleted annulets above. Between horse's legs, a trefoil
This stater is extremely rare for this type and in this quality. This stater is similar to Delestré 3410. The portrait has a little S in front of forehead and coiling around a pellet (lock of hair). On reverse, crane's head is distinct from pelleted annulet. Clearly one of the most examples known.
